Photography
Event photography for the Annual Conference, shot and edited by the same person writing the recap and posting it.
How I approach it
On-site photography was my main role once the Annual Conference started. I attended every session ready to capture speakers, crowd reactions, and the candids that made the next year’s promotion feel alive. I edited everything in Adobe Lightroom, published it on the organization’s photo gallery, and curated the best shots for social media. For formal award portraits, I coordinated with a hired contractor.
(In the off season, I like to practice at local Comic Cons dressed as Peter Parker.)
