Video

Conference openers, promo spots, and recap clips. A supporting channel, produced in-house and edited in Premiere.

How I approach it

Video at a small nonprofit is a supporting player, and I treated it that way. Conference openers, promotional spots, explainer clips for volunteer contributors, and recap reels, produced in-house, edited in Adobe Premiere, and sized to the audience rather than the budget. It’s not the deepest part of my stack and I won’t oversell it. But when a project needed motion, I shot it and cut it.

Samples

Two representative pieces: an episode of the video podcast, and an award acceptance speech from the Annual Conference.

The video podcast. "How to Build a Culture Nurses Don't Want to Leave" — a full episode shot and cut in-house, the video counterpart to the audio show.
An award acceptance speech. Hannah Jang Kim accepting the Excellence in Nursing Research award — the kind of conference-floor moment I captured and cut for the recap.
